“Some people seem to just have all the luck. It’s not fair! It’s like they get everything they want, while the ‘rest of us’ work our fingers to the bone with nothing to show for it!”
“He doesn’t deserve all that money. His ‘mommy’ and ‘daddy’ have been taking care of him all his life and then, to top it off, he inherits everything they own? He’s never had to work a day in his life!”
“Everyone knows the only reason she got that promotion is because she’s sleeping with the boss. I’m FAR more qualified for that job, and I’ve been here for three years. It’s pathetic!”
“We may not have a lot of things, but we have real happiness. Everybody knows that rich people aren’t really happy.”
“Look at all the money they have! They should be trying to help out those less fortunate. It’s not like they don’t have it to give.”
“Finish your supper! There are starving children in other parts of the world who don’t have the good food you do, and you want to go and waste it!”
No one likes to feel the pain of experiencing a “lack” of something. Indeed, whenever you are focused on the lack of anything, in that moment you are disconnected from the Source energy of that which you really are, an extension of Source itself, a fully creative being and one who was born to always live out the cycle of wanting and receiving or, put in more fitting terms, “asking” and “allowing”. Even if you are not fully conscious of your role as a deliberate creator, whose very purpose is to create, you nevertheless inherently feel the call of that which you are and of the wellbeing and abundance that is your natural state of being.

Jessie, I needed to read this exactly tonight. I love how the Universe knows what I need when I need it. Thank you for reminding me to not covet what others have. I am so grateful for what I have myself … thank you again.
Lisa,
I can’t tell you how delighted I am to see these words. You’ve made my fondest wish come true, and for that, I’ll never be able to thank you enough.
…But I’ll try.
Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!
