“Spontaneous inspiration is the Universe’s way of letting you know, in no uncertain terms, that no one can manifest the action to which you’re being called quite the same way you can… believe it!” – Jessica Smith, Ask and Allow Online
You might say it’s been a long time coming. The information, exploration and playful adventure that is at the heart of Ask & Allow is little more than an organic result of a redhead, an insatiable curiousity, a lot of invaluable experiences, timely synchronicities, the absolute blessings of various friends, mentors and playmates along the way, and loving encouragement from all of them to just “ask and allow” the voice of inner guidance to lead the way. Over time, it became obvious that the “voice of inner guidance” had a whole lot more in mind than simply serving as a personal inner guidance after all. They had things to say, a lot to say, and they had no problem saying it whether at two in the afternoon… or three in the morning!
In spite of the frequent chatter at the most inopportune times, it’s really next to impossible to get annoyed too much with such wise, joyful, humorous, loving energy. An effort began, rather haphazardly, to keep notes. Well, I’m about the world’s worst at organization or keeping up with anything, including intending new habits. They think this is absolutely hilarious, by the way. They are so sure, so adamant, that “all is well” and “circumstances are perfect”, that practically any route taken will ultimately lead to the perfect result anyway, and they have a very active sense of humor.
So, moving along? It started with a few friends and family asking casual questions and receiving answers. Eventually, a few found out about my being able to channel and would ask to speak to… them. Around the beginning of this time, I also had the best blessing of meeting someone who has become a personal mentor, a good friend, a patient and loving cheerleader, fantastic confidante and a willing playmate to the experiences I continue to have: Hemal Radia. An excellent Super Coach of the highest calibre, it’s really his fault that things have gotten this far, and that this site exists. To this day, he continues to do what comes naturally to him; offer help, introduce me to other people, write about me here and there, lend a shoulder, lend an ear, challenge my own personal beliefs, encourage my deepest desires and insist on serving as a perfect example of someone fully embracing their own flow, living in their abundance and putting authenticity first.
Now there is Ask and Allow Online, and I’m finally doing what I think I should have been doing all along; offering what I can to help empower others to reach their natural abundance and wellbeing. This site examines life on a more energetic and Universal level, discussing tools such as the Law of Attraction, energetic alignment, the function of emotional response, inner guidance and more. “We” write about deliberate creation, about the existence of natural prosperity, wellbeing and abundance, and the awareness of existing as an energetic being living in a physical body. We explore processes and exercises, visualizations, but we also pair it up with the more practical side of day-to-day living, encouraging the taking of practical “action steps” that are in alignment with the desires we all naturally have.
As the site grows, we look forward to interviewing other people in the field; authors, speakers, teachers and coaches. There are plans for a bi-monthly downloadable podcast, visual eye-candy to help you surround yourself with reminders of who you really are and what you are really here to do. Already, we are offering a wonderful Question & Answer page to allow those with questions to both seek out additional insight and contribute to the overall wealth of site information all at the same time.
And, of course, if all goes perfectly? It won’t be too long before this is what we do, and all that we do, professionally – whether at two in the afternoon or four in the morning.
Me? I’m a thirty-something redhead. A fulltime live-in caregiver to both my parents (after all, they were fulltime live-in caregivers for me first), I also run a creative studio named Storykraft Kreative that offers graphic/web design, copywriting/editing, branding development and… well, a bunch of other creative services. Four cats think they own me. Two dogs just want to get food from me. I talk way too much. I love to socialize. It’s clear I’m a Libra. My beloved, Micheal, parades around pretending to be a history loving, politics fanboying, computer geeked out normal dude, but I’ve seen his wings – trust me, he’s an angel. He was also at my side, and on my “team”, looooong before any of this was even a twinkle in my eye, and so I have to thank him first and foremost… for… everything. He gives the best advice ever.
I love to write, but… I have a whole lot of, um… help with that.
The right color palette can make me drool. I can’t live without good music or good friends. Mississippi is my current home, and where I’ve spent most of my life. I am absolutely obsessed with the idea of living in Italy, in or near Florence, and I swear I should have been born Italian – even if I am Southern-minded.
Oh… and I sooooooo totally adore Jason Mraz.
